The Great Women Debate
Do you have conflicting ideas on women? Do you wish to prove that your gender is the dominant gender? Do you enjoy throwing rocks at small children? If you fit into any or all of these categories, please post here.
hey buddy, I will... First, on women in high political, there have been how many women presidents? Oh, yea, I forgot, zero!!! I will secede my piano skills from the debate, however. Besides, women should only be good at piano, so that fits. But, we can talk about all of your sophomore classes.
So assuming that Mauro is the Affirmative.. our Topic would be-- Men are better than Women This would make Courtney the Negative. Does the Negative have something to say?
Hey Tara, I'm sure that you have some comment on women's rights. Also, this a debate, and the ideals mentioned on this debate are not always the ideals of the person posting them. (I'm not totally sexist)

As I am, in fact, a Mexican, you wouldn't believe how many racist slurs I get throughout a day. It's crazy. Anyway, I think that women deserve their rights; however, I also think that in the world, men are very often found to be superior to women. That is my main point, and since Courtney is deciding not to post, I suppose she has nothing else to say on the matter.

o and i do have a comment! men are in no way surperior to women just by being that gender. boys are not born better than women. its what a person makes him or her self to be. so yes, in some cases a man my be better than a woman, but its not because men are just automatically better than women, that man just may have worked harder to better himself. this is the case with many women however, therefore, your comments about men being superior to women, are not needed.
hmmm...how are men found to be superior to women? and if you do believe this, then you're kind of contradicting yourself. if you think men are superior to women then women would probably not be entitled to the same rights...which you said they do, so...explain.

All of your comments are extremely interesting. However, I still believe that men are superior to women. Here are two examples:
According to a BBC study of 100,000 students, men on average scored five points higher on the IQ test.
Men run faster (9.84 sec. to 10.54 sec. in the Olympics for 100-meter dash) and are physically stronger than women.
These are two examples of male superiority. I do not believe that women do not deserve rights. Hopefully this clears up some misunderstandings and sparks some debating flames.

Now then, regarding CoUrTnEy's most recent post, this is a debate on male or female superiority, not on whether women should or should not have rights. I simply believe that men are superior to women, and I have proven it with statistics. Also, you being better than me at piano could be attributed to the fact that you have been playing for more years than I. This, however, is a specialized case, and it cannot be statistically proven that women are better than men at piano. My arguments on male superiority can be found in my previous post.
Now then, regarding Sam's first and only post to this point, I would have to disagree with that statement because China, easily the most prosperous nation in the world, does not accept women's rights. I will also remind you that the United States is trillions of dollars in debt, though I will not be so bold as to blame that on women.
Hopefully this cleared some things up for everyone. Keep debating; I am actually enjoying disproving every single comment that is posted by anyone discluding myself.

Maro, did you just finally decide that women are equal to men because of a biblical story? So you're saying any religious text is fair game to use as proof? Then I could make up any god and say they told me women are better.
Also, are you saying the best man is better than the best woman, or the average man is better than the average women?
I would also like to say that the gender dilemma is just like any other minority superiority question. The problem in any statement of a superior race is that everyone has a bias.
That said, I'm not going to tell you who the Aryan race is other than that it will be the "mixed breeds" that will end up taking the best qualities from each race.
The superior gender however, is already in existence. While you can't say the best race is all of them, you can say the best sex is both of them. That's right, hermafridites are the superior gender. They can create life independently. One could argue that they are not because they can only create clones which would lead to a very fragile species when trying to avoid plagues, but mutations would eventually diversify the population.
But baring them, I'd have to say women are superior. If all the men die right now, there is plenty of sperm to repopulate the planet. If all the women die, it's the monkey's turn to play dominate life form. You'd have frozen eggs, fair enough, but it is impossible to develop a human fetus out side of a female human. It can't be simulated by a machine or replaced by a different species.
So basically, if the female population is a Sims game, the male population is an expansion pack. Sure they make the game stronger or smarter, but without the actual game, you can't do anything at all.
Therefore, greater achievement and worth is derived from the survival and continuation of a species than a slight improvement upon that species. Thus, women are better than men.
Actually, my last post was only posted because I found it futile to debate with people who have nothing to say (although poetry does strike me in the right spot sometimes).
Anyway, the first section ends after chapter nineteen and I think Pip was eight, but I'm not entirely sure are the answers to your questions.
Regarding JoJo's comments on male superiority, I must say that your arguments make sense; excluding the abundant supply of sperm, which I am unaware of, and hermaphrodites, which are a subject all of their own, I think you make some sex. However, which came first, the chicken or the egg? Or perhaps the rooster preceeds both? I do not think women would last long without men because women can't reproduce amongst themselves, but the same is true for men.
Unless the technology of taking sperm from men is created and perfected, or the process of removing and freezing eggs is created and perfected likewise, I do believe that the human race would become extinct if either was removed from existence.
Males do produce more sperm than females produce eggs, but would that not make men superior in the reproduction ability, because they can reproduce at anytime without running out of sperm because they do not have a set amount of sperm or a time of month during which the fertilization can occur. Does that make sense?
I do believe that on average, men are smarter and stronger physically than women, and you can check stats for that one.
Perhaps if you spent less time playing the Sims game without the expansion and more time researching factual evidence about men and women.
